In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of research into the composition of intestinal microbiocenosis of healthy and ill with gastroenteritis piglets in weaning period. The experiments were conducted on 20 healthy piglets 23 25 days of age during their preparation for weaning and 40 pigs 33 to 35 days of age 5-7 days after weaning. Research results suggest that post-weaning piglets develop disbiotic changes of intestinal microflora, manifested in reducing the number of representatives of the normal flora: bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, which are typical of E. coli and the increasing number of facultative and opportunistic symbionts: hemolytic Escherichia, Proteus, yeasts and other opportunistic pathogens.
