In the conditions of the north-eastern region of the Republic of Belarus at the experimental plot Tushkovo in 2011-2012 there were realized a research into the botanical composition, productivity and structure of grasses of hybrid clover (Trifolium hybridum L.) and different grass mixtures with it depending on moistening conditions. The studied grass mixtures included timothy grass (Phleum pratense), tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea), reed canary grass (Phalaroides arundinacea L.), festulolium (Rye fescue), alfalfa (Medicago sativa), timothy grass (Phleum pratense). The experimemt was carried out in quadruple frequency with regular accommodation of variants with displacement on frequencies. It was established that the composition of grass mixtures and irrigation positively influence the productivity of grasses. Thus, the highest yield of dry matter was obtained in the variant of grass mixture of hybrid clover and festulolium with irrigation – 13.7 ton/hectare (on average during two years of life). Surplus from irrigation amounted to 3.9 t/ha. The lowest productivity - hybrid clover and timothy grass (8.3 ton/hectare).
