In the Republic of Belarus there was evaluated application of ordinary aspen (Populus tremula) leaves broth and an European mountain ash (Sorbus aucuparia L) fruits infusion on indicators of protein, fat and carbohydrate exchange in bloods of goats, infestated with nematodes of gastro-intestinal tract (stongylids, strongyloids, trichuris, and capillaria worms). Research results showed the presented treatment rendered positive influence on changes in content level of albumines, globulines, urea, glucose, and bilirubin in blood. Treatment of goats with the herbal infusion promoted to accelerated recovery of animals, that was proved by the following indexes: preservation of glucose in blood at a high level which corresponded to standard indexes. There was marked absence of negative influence of the infusion on liver of animals expressed in pathological increasing or lowering of aspartate aminotransferase level. Also, there was marked increasing of the content of triglycerides up to the level corresponding to state of healthy animals.
