In order to evaluation of winter and facultative barley lines,and to get high yield and adaptable lines to cold and dry conditions,this experiment carried out in Maraglieh research station. This study included 2 experiments of preliminary yield trials,8 experiments of advanced yield trials and 5 experiments of advanced yield trials-B. Barley lines evaluated based on agronomy traits included drought/cold resistance,early maturity,pests and diseases resistance,thousand kernel weight,plant height,grain yield and others favourable traits and compared with national check (Sahand). Finally from 156 barley lines in (PBYT-1)l7 better lines,from 114 barley lines in (PBYT-2) 10 better lines, from 160 barley lines in BYT(Al-A8)26 better lines and from 108 barley lines in BYT(B 1 -B5) 11 better lines selected. Advanced yield trials will continue in next years and finally best lines will be introduced for dry! cold areas. Key words: barley, yield, dryland, winter, facultative.
