In order to access of lentil genotypes the largest yield than other existing cultivars that have useful characteristics such as grain yield, rather seed number in pod, larger grain size, some of traits that affect in tolerance to drought and heat stress, disease resistant, early maturity and other adaptable possessing good quality characteristics for dryland areas of country and for transition of research products to farmers, this study was conducted in Dehdasht, Likak and Basht locations at 2008-09 growing season. This trial including 6 genotypes FLIP 03-71C, FLIP 03-64C, FLIP 98-106C, FLIP00-40C, FLIP 99-66C and FLIP 00-21C with GACHSARAN check cultivar were conducted through Randomized Complete Block Design in plots that have 4 meters long and seed density of 200 seeds per 1 square meter(M2) with 3 replicates. During growing season data were collected from some agronomical and morphophisiological traits such as ST, PH, DF, DM, and reaction to ascochyta blight and fusarium wilt diseases were evaluated. Values of hundred seed weight, seed number in pod and grain yield were measured. Comparisons between the grain yield of new genotypes and check variety (Gachsaran) were done by analysis of variance were performed on grain yield in Dehdasht location. In Likak and Basht locations, trials were not harvested because of lack of rain and heat. Finally genotypes 1, 3 and 5 with high mean yield were selected for next on-farm trial at 2009-10 growing season.
