In order to Preliminary evaluation the landraces of Dragon's head (lallemantia iberica F. & C. M.) (3 lines) and seed flax (linum usitatissmum L.) (1 lines) in cold dry conditions, This carried out as RCBD design with 4 treatments and 3 replication, In the Autumn time, waiting and spring planted and with tow seed density 300 and 400 seed. m-2 in 2010-11. The results of data analysis in split plot design showed that The main effects of genotype and density and the Interactive effects in the time*density, time*genotype and density*genotype Characteristics of the seed germination, plant height, number of main branches, the number Minor of branches, TKW, seed number per plant, dry biomass and grain yield were significantly different. simple correlations showed that seed yield has positive and significant correlation with dry biomass (0.86**), seed germination (0.72**), seed number per plant (0.56**) and plant height (0.30*). Also it has a significant negative correlation with TKW (-0.38**). seed flax mass autumn and waiting planting went away entirely. In spring planting the seeds had very low germination therefore this species was removed from the test. The density*genotypes in mean yield based on DMRT showed that Mass seed density of the Kurdistan 2 with 400 seed. m-2 the highest grain yield by 1235 kg.ha-1 that could be suitable for rainfed areas had of Iran.
