The present study was conducted during five succesive yerars (2004-09) at the Gerize agricultural research ststion,Sanaandaj, in order to evaluate the yield of selected lines of Persian clover, natives of Kurdistan,in two separate experiments for one and twice cut cultivars. This investigation was carried out at three observative,semi-final and final on selected lines. The experiments of one cut and twice cut clovers were performed with 10 lines and 21 lines respectively, as well as a primary land race (check line) using RCBDs with three replications. Dry well as other morphological and biological triats were measured. Stastical analysis performed on annual and combined data and results revealed that there were significant differences for yield and most of traity in both land races. One cut lines could be divied to three groups based on the number of days from sowing to 25% flowering. First group was harvesteble synchronou with the check, seconed one and third one were harvestable7and 15 days. The best line of one cut clover, with high productivity potential and desivable traits was line num 2 origined from Baneh with 30.3 tonns/ha wet forage yield, 4.9 tonns/ha dray yield forage and 1055 kg/ha seed yield with 26.93 percent curde protein . In the twice cut clover lines belong to Kamyaran, Mariwan and Dhegoolan had got high productivity potential, and lines number 17 of Kamyaran with 48.6 tonns/ha wet forage yield, 7.4 tonns/ha dray yield forage and lines 16 0f Kamyaran with 634.9 kg/ha seed yield and lines number 5 of Sannandaj with 26.6 percent curde protein were the best lines. Thus, according to the results lines number 2 (one-cut) and 17( twice-cut) were recommended for multipication and release to the region.
