In order to get information on quantitative and qualitative characters of sugar beet monogerm and multigerm commercial varieties as well as new breeding cultivars, this study was conducted in 2010 as two separate monogerm and multigerm trials at six locations of different climatic conditions of Iran including Karaj, Isfahan, Kermanshah, Hamadan, Moghan, and Meshkinshahr. Each experiment was laid out as a randomized complet block design with four replications. Analysis of variance was carried out for each locatin and trial separately. Also, combined analysis of variance was not carried out because based on Barttlet test there was not homogeneity of variances. According to the results of the monogerm trials for white sugar yield , the variety Zarghan 86 performed better than the others in Karaj. In Kermanshah, the highest sugar yield belonged to Brigita variety(foreign check). In Moghan and Meshkinshar, differences between monogerm cultivars were not significant, but cultivars Brigita and Zarghan 87 were appearantly superior. In Hamadan, the highest sugar yield belonged to the hybrid (419*SB36)*27068. According to the results of the multigerm trials for white sugar yield, the multigerm new hybria 276.3.27* HM 1990 performed better than the others in Karaj. In Isfahan, differences between multigerm cultivars were not significant, but cultivar 276.3.27* HM 1990 was appearantly superior. The highest sugar yield in Kermanshah belonged to the cultivar BR1. Also, in Moghan and Meshkinshahr differences between multigerm cultivars were significant, and cultivars Aras 101 and IC were appearantly superior. The multigerm cultivars Aras 101 and 276.3.27* HM 1990 had the highest sugar yield in Hamadan. According to the results, Hamadan and Kermanshah had the highest sugar yield and performed better than the others areas. Also, results of monogerm trials showed differences between means of varieties in six locations and the varieties Zarghan 86 and Brigita performed better than the other cultivars. Also, in multigerm trials showed differences between locations for all qualitative and quantitative characteristics. According to the results, the highest sugar yield belonged to Kermanshah and Meshkinshahr. The results of multigerm trials showed differences between means varieties in six locations and the varieties Aras 101, 276.3.27*HM1990 and 276.3.27*Bulk RR performed better than the other cultivars.
