In order to evaluation and determine the best rootstock and cultivar combination for growth and regenerative of 9 selected strains of mass Washington navel on 3 rootstock(Sour orange, Citrange & Poncirus) in Astara research station, this experiment was conducted. This experiment was carried out as factorial in a randomized complete bloke design whit seven replications for 5 years. Vegetative characteristics, quality characteristics of fruits and quantity characteristics of fruits were analyzed for 1, 2 and 5 years, respectively. Results of analysis of variance and mean comparison showed that both quantity and quality of fruit characteristics were significantly affected by years. Also some quantity and quality characteristics of fruit was significantly affected by rootstock, strain and interaction between both rootstock and strain. The greatest yield, production, L/D, fruit gravity, TSS and yield efficiency was on Poncirus rootstock. The lowest yield, production and the greatest fruit mean weight were on Citrange rootstock. The greatest yield, production, and yield efficiency was on B, F, I and E strains and the lowest them was on D and G starins. The lowest alternate bearing index was on E strain on Citrange and Poncirus rootstocks. Tree height, width, and canopy volume were not affected by treatments. The greatest trunk to scion ratio was on C strain on Poncirus and the lowest ratio was on G strain on Sour orange. The combination of B, F, I and E strains on Poncirus rootstock is advisable in this area.
