Английский. The doctoral theses were designed in the Faculty of Engineering, Latvia University of Agriculture and the agency of LUA Research institute of Agricultural Machinery. Hypothesis – a flat-plate solar collector equipped with reflectors and the sun tracking system is able to produce considerably higher amount of heat energy. The objective of the research is to elaborate theoretical and experimental substantiation of the construction of tracking the sun solar collector for water heating, where for intensification of solar radiation striking the absorber’s rear surface reflectors are used. The main tasks of the research: 1. To develop the theoretical base of tracking the sun solar collector, where for the intensification of the solar radiation, striking the absorber’s rear surface reflectors is used. 2. To evaluate the constructive solutions and geometric parameters of the solar collector with reflectors for ensuring the maximum of heat production efficiency. 3. To investigate and analyze tracking the sun mechanisms of the collector systems tracking the sun and to select the most suitable. 4. To elaborate the mathematical model of tracking the sun solar collector with reflectors and using the Matlab-Simulink software to compute the main structural and thermal values of the collector’s parameters, including produced amount of heat energy. 5. To manufacture the construction of tracking the sun solar collector with reflectors and to work out the methodology for its experimental investigation under laboratory and field conditions. 6. To compare the efficiency and other relevant economic and thermal parameters of the developed solar collector with those of other solar collectors and heat sources.

Латышский. Darbs izstrādāts Latvijas Lauksaimniecības universitātes Tehniskajā fakultātē un LLU aģentūrā Lauksaimniecības tehnikas zinātniskais institūts. Pētījumu veikšanai izvirzīta hipotēze – aprīkojot plakano saules enerģijas kolektoru ar atstarotājiem un Saulei sekošanas sistēmu, var iegūt ievērojami lielāku siltumenerģijas daudzumu. Pētījumu mērķis ir pamatot, izstrādāt un eksperimentāli pārbaudīt saules enerģijas kolektora konstrukciju, kurā izmantoti atstarotāji, lai paaugstinātu uz absorberi krītošā saules starojuma intensitāti un nodrošināta tā sekošana saules virzienam. Mērķa sasniegšanai izvirzītie uzdevumi: 1. Izstrādāt teorētisko pamatojumu pilnveidotam saules enerģijas kolektoram ar atstarotājiem. 2. Izvērtēt saules enerģijas kolektoru konstruktīvus risinājumus un ģeometriskos parametrus, kuri nodrošina to darba maksimālu efektivitāti. 3. Izpētīt un analizēt saules enerģijas kolektoru pagriešanas mehānismus, kuri nodrošina sekošanu Saulei, un izvēlēties ekonomiski izdevīgāko variantu. 4. Izstrādāt pilnveidotā saules enerģijas kolektora ar atstarotājiem matemātisko modeli, ar kuru var aprēķināt šī kolektora saražotā siltuma daudzumu, izmantojot Matlab-Simulink datorprogrammu, veikt kolektora galveno konstruktīvo un siltumtehnisko lielumu skaitlisko vērtību aprēķinus. 5. Izgatavot pilnveidoto saules enerģijas kolektoru ar atstarotājiem, izstrādāt tā eksperimentālo pētījumu metodiku un veikt kolektora eksperimentālās pārbaudes laboratorijas un lauka apstākļos. 6. Noteikt pilnveidota saules enerģijas kolektora ekonomisko efektivitāti salīdzinājumā ar citu veidu kolektoriem un siltuma avotiem.
