FLORA OF IRAN - TRIBE OF HEDYSAREAE (PAPILIONACEAE)

Research plan on flora of Iran in Persian language as a national plan approved by Research Institute of Forest and Rangelands is caring out at central stuff of Tehran as well as most research centers of natural resources of Iran by many botanist majored in plant taxonomy science. In present study, according to plan identity, plants of tribe Hedysareae from family of Papilionaceae were investigated in order to identification and distributional aspects in Iran territory. On the basis of the results, this tribe comprises 6 genera ( Eversmania, Hedysarum, Onobrychis, Taverniera, Ebenus and Alhagi) which distributed generally in all parts of Iran. Also, the results indicated that the most important genus of the tribe is Onobrychis having 68 species in Iran. Furthermore, one of the most findings of this research is identification of 8 new species, 1 new subspecies, 3 new varities and 4 new records for the genus which are distributed in NW, W, NE and central regions of Iran. The other important findinges indicated that O. rechingerorum is synonym with O. nummularia.
