Sources of physical and socio-economic problems and solving possibilities in irrigation facilities beneficiary of agricultural enterprises of Daphan province | Daphan ovası sulama tesislerinden yararlanan tarım işletmelerinin fiziki ve sosyo ekonomik kaynaklı işletme sorunları ve çözüm olanaklarının belirlenmesi

In this study, first of all, was it aimed to investigate the existing condition of the Daphan Plain Irrigation System of Erzurum province in order to determine the main physical and socioeconomic oriented problems and the ways of tackling them. Study data were collected with structured questionnaires from farmers and managers of the irrigation organizations in the study area. According to the results, meaningful relationships were found between rational use of irrigation water (RUIW) and education and use of advanced agricultural technology levels of the farmers. However, there was no any significant relationship between RUIW and farm size, average number of plots, and professional experience It was also determined that farmers haven't attended any training activity on irrigation after the establishment of the system. It was concluded that a shift from extensive to intensive farming should be achieved in order to increase the added value of agricultural production via effective irrigation in the study area. This requires, of course, optimum farm size, higher level of farm mechanization, optimum input use and low level of agricultural land fragmentation. It was suggested that production planning and special marketing policies should be employed in order to achieve desired changes in production pattern in Daphan Plain of Erzurum province.

турецкий. Bu araştırmada, Daphan Ovası sulama tesislerinde, öncelikle sulama işletmeciliğinin mevcut durumu incelenmiş ve başlıca sorunları saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla yapılan değerlendirmelerde araştırmanın ana materyalini sulama organizasyonları ve üreticilerden anket yolu ile toplanan anket verileri oluşturmuştur. Sulama bilinç düzeyi ile müteşebbislerin eğitim durumları ve gelişmiş tarım teknolojisini kullanım düzeyleri arasında bağımlılık, işletme büyüklüğü, ortalama parsel sayısı ve mesleki deneyim arasında bağımsızlık tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen işletmelerde, arazilerin sulamaya açılmasından sonra hiçbir sulama eğitimi alınmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Yörede sulamanın artırılması ve katma değerin yükseltilmesinin sağlanması için tarımda entansiteye ulaşılması sağlanmalıdır. Bunun için, işletmelerde sulama dışında, alet ve makina, arazi varlığı ve parçalılık durumu, girdi temini ve kullanımı gibi faktörler yönünden de entansiteye gidilmelidir. Sulamayla birlikte ürün deseninde istenen yönde değişimlerin yaşanması için Daphan Ovası bazında üretim planlaması ve özel pazarlama politikaları uygulanmalıdır.
