First record of Xercomus silwoodensis (Boletaceae) in the Czech Republic

The paper contains a report on the first collections of Xerocomus silwoodensis in the Czech Republic. The authors present a macro- and microscopic description of this species based on a study of material collected from one Bohemian and one Moravian locality. Characters distinguishing X. silwoodensis from related species of the genus Xerocomus Quel. s. str. (X. ferrugineus, X. subtomentosus, and X. chrysonemus) are discussed.
