Study on Listerial Contamination in Ghom and Suburbs

Listeria monocytogenes(L.m) due to having speciality resistante against heat and cold can be large remain edible livestocks products so that in addition to growth in refrigerator. There are reports shawing its tollerance at pasteurization temp. In respect to importance of L.m from health, mental and economice points at view. This study was carried out to investigate Listeria sp. in three statical society thats human community, livestocks and edible livestock products. Results show that through human community there are 5% contamination (includ L.m 2% and L.moraii 3%).in livestocks 14% contamination(includ 8% L.rn, 4% L.moraii and 2% L.graii)and in edible livestocks products 8.5% contamination(only L.m)were abserved. In total 882 case sampled 76 case were contaminated by L.m, L.moraii and L.graii allocating 68, 6 and 2 respectively. This study also led us to a new enrichment method for isolation L.m from natural media in which L.m with maximum 6 days can be isolated as a predominated microorganism from natural media.
