In order to compare the yield and yield components of early maturity drought- tolerant wheat lines under saline conditions, 10 elite lines selected from previous experiments with Shiroudi and Bam cultivars as controls, were tested. The project consisted of two separate field experiments were conducted at two salinity levels for each experiment in randomized complete block design with four replications. Plants in well-watered treatment were irrigated during the growing season to minimize water shortage until they reached physiological maturity. Irrigation was terminated for plants in droughted treatment when plants in 50% of plots reached anthesis stage. Each plot consisted of seven rows, 5 m in length and inter row spacing was 20 cm. Average soil salinity during the experiment was 6.81 and 8.16 in Marvdasht and 5.89 and 7.63 in Darab, respectively. Soil during the experiment was 6.81 and 8.16 The combined ANOVA indicated significant effects for well-watered and droughted experiments for yield and yield components. In general, all the genotypes had better performance under well-watered condition in comparison to droughted condition. The S-87-18 line, had the highest yield under both treatments with an average yield of 554.04 and 433.9 gram per square meters for well-watered and droughted experiments, respectively. Results also showed that the K+/Na+ trait was more correlated with the yield under well-watered condition in comparison to droughted condition.
