A tiled experiment was conducted to study the effects of foliar spray and soil application of micro nutrients on yield and protein content of common bean (Phascoulus "ulcaris L.) This study carried out at Eghlid agricultural research station during 2000 -2002. The experiment was performed based on Randomized complete block design (RCS) with 10 treatments in 3 replication. First year results indicated that there is no significant difference between. treatments. The highest yield was produced by soil application of 50. 40 and 40 kglha FeS04 . ZnS04 and MnS04 respectively with foliar spray of these elements at 0.2 % concentration. In second year the results showed significant difference (at J %) between treatments. The highest grain yield was produced by soil application Fe, Zn and Mn without foliar spray:The results of this experiment showed that application of micronutrients ( Fe , Zn, Mn) increased of protein content of bean by %2. Soil application of micro nutrients was economical but foliar spray had no economical explanation. Keyworzls : micronutrient, protein, yield, bean.
