An investigation about three doses (0.5 0.6, 0.7. ml/ lit) of Floramite SC 24% a new acaricide with bifenazate active ingredient from carbazate chemical compound which able to control mite pests up to 21 days in comparison to effects Spirodiclofen SC 240, Fenazaquin SC 20%, Fenproximate 5% SC 5%, Fenpropatrin, 10% FL evaluated on active stages of Panonychus ulmi on apple red variety carried out in Tehran, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Ardebil and Khorasan Razavi provinces during 2010 respectively. The blocked randomized designed with three replication and each one with selected trees according similarity in age, size and variety. Sparing time chosen according weekly interval from middle of spring and randomly collected 50 leaves for each treatment. While observing mean of 5 active mite stages with 30% leaves infested on the basis absence/ presence mite sampling method, all treatments applied early morning to enhance maximum acaricides contact effects. In check plot, water sprayed used to control mobile mite stages. Effects of the treatments evaluated through counting alive mite/leaf with the help of stereo microscope at one day before, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after during sampling period. Side effects of those acaricides on P.ulmi natural enemies studied up to 28 days after treatments. Mean raw data collected converted into mortality% with Henderson-Tilton formula. Analysis of variance and grouping effects of those treatments done by SAS and Duncan methods respectively. Mortality effects of spirodiclofen (97.17%), floramite dose 0.7 (88.58%), fenazaquin (78.83%) observed highest whereas the lowest control measure in W. Azerbaijan recorded 38.92% for fenproximate. The maximum 70% mite control recorded for 0.6 ml/lit of floramite and envidor treatments while lower control % found at interval of 28 days in Khorasan Razevi. Mite mortality% in apple orchards of East Azerbaijan statistically did not found significant among the treatments, but an increase of control% observed for higher doses of floramite at intervals of 7 and 14 days respectively. The limited effects of 50 to 60% mite control for all treatments recorded in Ardebil. The mild side affects new acaricides on two predatory mite and thrips, Orius sp predatory insects found in Ardebil. The results showed that the effectively control can be achieved if considering the lower and higher doses of floramite in apple orchards infested with mean of 3 and 5 mites/leaf and also forecasting rain incidence and sudden temperature to prolong mite control method.
