Yield comparison of wheat varieties Mihan, Alvand and line C-87-6 under water stress conditions at the end of growth season

The objective of this investigation was comparison of seed yield in line C-87-6 with wheat varieties Mihan and Alvand (as control), for increasing of yield under water stress at the end of growth season. A farm in Borujen region was selected, then it was separated into three parts in the same conditions, next the line and varieties were planted in them separately. The farming management was the same for all parts. One irrigation turn was deleted at the beginning of dough stage in all genotypes. After harvesting, the yield in each of the varieties and line was determined. The results represented that the yield of Alvand, Mihan and C-87-6 were 5192, 5118 and 5034 KG/H respectively. Although, the yield of Alvand was a little more than other genotypes, but because of desirable traits in two recently genotypes, the planting of them is suggested instead of Alvand
