Efficacy of herbicides on weeds grown in Triticale (Triticale hexaploide).

In order to evaluation of chemical weed control in triticale, was carried out an experiment in RBCD arrangement with 14 treatments and four replications at meshkin dasht of karaj in during 2010-2011. Herbicide treatments consisted of sulfosulfuron, mesosulfuron + iodosulfuron (Atlantis), metsulfuron + sulfosulfuron, isoproton + diflufenican, mesosolfuron + iodosolfuron (Shovalieh), clodinafop-propargil, pinoxaden, diclofop methyl), pinoxaden + clodinafop-propargil, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl, tralkoxidim, difenzoquat) and flamprop-m-isopropyl. The results showed that the effect of herbicide treatments on weed population and weed dry weight, biological yield and grain yield of triticale were significant (pr 0.01). Based on the means of the density and dry weight of weed narrow leaf, that herbicides mesosulfuron + iodosulfuron, difenzoquat, isoproton + diflufenican, tralkoxidim, metsulfuron + sulfosulfuron and diclofop methyl had the highest effect in reduction of density of cheatgrass (Bromus murinum). But in reduction of cheatgrass dry weight all treatments, except flamprop-m-isopropyl, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl and clodinafop-propargil, were successful compared with weedy check.Use of mesosulfuron + iodosulfuron (Atlantis) was the more effective in reduction of density of mouse barley (Hordeum murinum L.), but this treatment wasn t significantly different from than isoproton + diflufenican or metsulfuron + solfosulfuron. All treatments except mesosolfuron + iodosolfuron (Shovalieh), pinoxaden and difenzoquat were significantly reduced dry weight of mouse barley. So all herbicides except sulfosulfuron and flamprop-m-isopropyl were significantly in reuced of density and dry weight of mouse wild oat (Avena ludoviciana). Use of pinoxaden, pinoxaden + clodinafop-propargil caused chlorosis and consumption of metsulfuron+sulfosulfuron herbicide reduced triticale height. Chlorosis about 4 weeks after spray disappeared but the shortage of triticale height was remained till at the end of growth season. But all of herbicides increased triticale yield compared with control. Highest triticale grain yield was obtained of treatments mesosulfuron+iodosulfuron (Atlantis) and pinoxaden + clodinafop-propargil (60,771 kg-ha and 60,420 kg-ha`) respectively, but these treatments were not significantly different than other treatments.
