Study o the relationship between ceratin morphologic and physiologic genotypes bread wheat characters and grain yield on Irrigated area in Khuzestan Province.ύ

To achieve the successul bread wheat breeding program studies on correlation among morphologic physiologic with grain yield is very important and highly emphasized. This study will help us to release o high yielding varieties, through either direct or indirect selection. or this purpose characters o bread wheat genotype were studied in Ahwaz research station in 1993 eropping season and correlation were obtained. The results showed that there was a high positive corelation between the grain yield with number o spikes/m2, number o grain per spike and harvest index. these correlations were signiicant at 1%. Another characters were not signiicant. Total corelation were +0.8551 or number o spike/m2, +0.7645 or number o grains per spike and +0.8358 or harvest index....
