Evaluating the Priotity of Policy in Medicinal Crop Industry by AHP Method

This study attempts to prioritize prioritize policy making standards (principles) and 14 principal policies in medicinal crop industry, giving overall direction to vitality and development for the production of the industry. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) analysis is utilized for this study, so a survey is conducted. Data is collected from two groups, officials at medicinal crops policy department (public group) and leaders of the crop production (pro-duction group). In both groups, policy practicability is the most important standard, and policy suitability and policy efficiency are following. How-ever, policy suitability is more important in public group, while policy practicability and policy efficiency are relatively higher in production group. Based on the 3 standards. 14 policies are analyzed. Results show that policies related to R and D have ranked the most. However, Production leaders believe policies related to production and import should be top priorities.
