The article presents results of studying of efficiency of cultivation of the major bean culture for conditions of the Republic of Belarus - alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) of Belorusskaya and Prevoskhodnaya varieties, which are from in the State register of the grades and tree-bushes breeds of Belarus. The aim of the study was the development of the technology of alfalfa growing for obraining yielding capacity at the level of 90-100 centner/ha of dry mass with the content of crude protein at the level of 18-20% of dry matter. It was revealed that herbage irrigation in combination of phosphoric-potash fertilizer application P120K180 and a complex of trace elements 'Basfoliar 36 Ekstra' provides the maximum economical effect.
