For the first time In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized a behavioral testing of processed products of low glucosinolate variety of wild turnip (Brassica campestris L.) of Veronika variety for feeding of layer chickens. It was established that use in mixed fodders of layer hems of oil cake on the basis of wild turnip and its oil did not render negative influence on viability of poultry. Application of the additive of wild turnip oil cake and oil made it possible to obtain live weight gain of birds at the level of 8.0-11.7%, intensity of egg producing ability - by 90.8-92.4%. The weight of eggs was at the level of 61.0-69.9 gram and the economic benefit was 1013.2 thousand Belarusian rubles counting per 1000 of heads layer chickens. On the basis of the received data it was recommended to use in mixed fodders for layer hens up to 3.0 – 10.0% of wild turnip oil cake and up to 1.0 – 3.0% of wild turnip oil.
