In the article the information on fodder triticale (Triticosecale) use in the Republic of Belarus as a raw material for green fodder obtained from early spring to late autumn, grain hay and component preparation in the composition of mixed feed for pigs, poultry and cattle is analyzed. Based on grain chemical composition and biological value of regionalized varieties and perspective winter and spring triticale variety samples study, the exchangeable energy content in comparison with the parental species was determined. It was a conclusion that grain specific weight of studied triticale fodder varieties can be essentially increased in mixed feed for energetic and protein balancing of agricultural animal diet and production price reduction. Research results showed that triticale grains can serve as a main component of mixed fodders due to the increased value of protein, level of the essential amino acids and energy value of dry matter . Thus, the nutritional value of winter triticale grain averaged the following: the content of metabolizable energy per 1 kg of dry matter was 13,26-15,89 MJ and 136 g of crude protein. Thus, the specific weight of triticale grain as part of forage used for feed production can be substantially increased in order to balance the energy and protein nutritional diets of farm animals, cheaper products.
