Development of conducting system of stalk depends on the genetic nature of the plant, metameric character of the examined interstitial and is modified by the environment. The most stable indicators are histological-anatomical indicators of vascular bundles in under-paniculate interstitials. They can be recommended for selection estimation of variety samples of oats. Development of conducting system of stalk is characterized by the number and size of vascular bundles, their distance from the surface of the stalk, parameters of xylem and phloem, and drainage of straw. Combination of these indicators can be taken into account in selection according to the productivity of plants and their adaptability to the conditions of growing
