The article shows the prospects of production of fuel granules from different types of fuel in the Republic of Belarus. We have examined the content of cellulose and lignin in flax fiber, and coniferous and deciduous types of timber. We have shown the main directions of the use of flax fiber and the main characteristics of fuel granules from different types of raw materials, and determined the content of mineral impurities and methods of their purification
