In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of selection of effective fungicides to protect carrot (Daucus carota) seedlings against brown leaf spot. The biological and economic efficiency of fungicides (Quadris, SC; Acrobat MC, EDC; Ridomil Gold MC, EDC; Bellis, EDC) against brown leaf spot (Alternaria dauci (Kuehn) Groves et Skolko) on the culture of carrot was evaluated. After double fungicide treatment reduction of the disease was noted: Quadris, SC on 4,5 – 28,1%, Belis, VDG – on 17,8 – 34,9% compared to the control and 4,0 – 7,6% and 7,6 – 14,4%, respectively, compared with the standard Quadris, SC, single treatment). The average for the years of research yield of carrot in trials with a double application of fungicides Quadris, Sc reached 569,8 hundreds kilograms per hectare, Belis, VDG – 595,8 hundreds kilograms per hectare, while in the control – 406,9 hundreds kilograms per hectare, standard trial – 553,8 hundreds kilograms per hectare. Increase to the control was 36,1 – 40,0%, to the reference – 3,9 – 10,3%.
