In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented data on herbicides influence and their mixes with biologically active compounds (BAC) and/or macrofertilizers on alfalfa (Medicago sativa) plants. In course of the study there was analysed the effect of herbicide Pulsar and its compositions on chlorophyll content in alfalfa plants, depending on the age of the grass, the dose of fertilizer and seed treatment on the weight of alfalfa plants, alfalfa yields on the first year of life. It is determined that application of a mix of herbicide with BAC allows treating alfalfa at 3 – 5 leaves stage and to the height of 10 – 15 cm herbage. A technique of alfalfa treatment by herbicide solutions together with BAC and/or mix BAC + N10 allows applying maximal recommended dose of a preparation without leguminous grasses damage. Due to introduction in herbicide solution BAS and / or mixtures of BAC with minimal doses of nitrogen fertilizer (N10) at the early stages of alfalfa plants it made it possible to minimize the negative effects of the herbicide on both aerial parts and the root system. Method of the crop treatment with the herbicide together with BAC and / or a mixture of BAC + N10 allows you to apply the maximum consumption rate of the herbicide without injure to legumes.
