In course of the research there was studied the development strategy of the fat-and-oil sub complex of Belarus. As a result of research there were made the suggestions for optimizing of the composition of the participants created in the regions of integration structures and the analysis of the legal aspects of the establishment of holdings in the Republic of Belarus, the options of subsidiaries relationships with the management company were considered. Thus, studies showed that the implementation of key development objectives of the fat-and-oil sub complex and competitiveness of its products in the domestic and foreign markets were achievable by creating of large-scale productions with full technological cycle - from production of oilseeds to final oil and fat products in the range. In today's legal environment in Belarus these goals is most relevant to the establishment of holding companies, under which there are additional opportunities for coordinated financial, investment and industrial policy. Their creation, according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, is possible not only for the property, but also on a contract basis, which would allow individual participants to maintain its legal and financial autonomy, and the State - control the use of property as enshrined in its stakes in participating companies.
