Enterotoxaemia is caused by Clostridium Perfringens in sheep. The purpose of this research was to select the best strain C. perfringens types B,C,D isolated from Iran and their comparison with vaccinal strain by MLD and Potency test . In this research strain C.perfringens type C , strain C.perfringens type D , strain C.perfringens type B were studied , by phenotypic and MLD tests . Finally the entrotoxemia vaccine was prepared from the best field isolates and vaccinal strains. The vaccines were kept for days at refrigerator. The sterility , safety , abnormal toxicity and potency tests were done. The results showed that the field vaccine epsilon is equal the vaccinal sample, but the field vaccine beta is weaker than the vaccinal sample and is about / range. the isolates which their MLD was at least equal with the MLD of vaccinal strains .were lyophilized and kept for future studies. Key words: Clostridium Perfringens, Immunization, MLD, Potency
