Forests and Ranglands organization have planted some fast growing hybrid Poplars under wood culture program in larg eareas since thirty years ago. In order to study this plantations eight stands in east, west and center of Mazandaran province were selected. 30 sample plots in each region with at least 20 standing trees in each plot random-systematically selected and some quality and quantity factors and soil characteristics were measured. Data processing was carried out by SPSS program. Results show that, Emamzadeh Abdollah, Joorband and Gorji Sara plantations in point of view of Diameter at breast height (d.b.h) are preferred to Changaz plantations and differences were significant at %5 levels, but, trees in Gorji Sara had more height growth and then other sites. Changaz plantations had highest trunk without branch than Dolatabad and Emamzadeh Abdollah. The most standing volume belong to Changaz, Dolatabad and Joorband plantations with 34.883, 29.730, 29.053 m /ha/year and the least to Nosratabad with 18.475 m /ha/year. All plantations are located on Alluvial soils with 5.5-7.5 Acidity reaction (pH) and without salinity (EC= 0.2-0.9). Afratakht site near Sari, had the best stability, Gorji Sara, the best crown symmetry, Joorband, the best stem quality. %79.4 of trees with crown symmetry belongs to grade 1, %19 grade 2, and %1.6 grades 3.
