For application of precision agriculture, it is needed to measure growers' knowledge according to inputs' temporal management and its effects on productivity. In this study, at first, investigating knowledge of pistachio research institute experts, existence level of knowledge related to temporal management of water, nutrition and insecticide were estimated. Then, growers' attitude and behavior regarding temporal management of these inputs was evaluated. Comparing growers' knowledge with experts' idea, the pistachio producers' number related to temporal management of water, nutrition and insecticide was calculated. Using questionair method, data was collected. Pistachio producers of Anar and Rafsanjan cities were study population. Using stratified random sampling method, a sample of 100 farmers was selected. As, more than one orchard were considered for each grower, final sample size was 286. Also, for measuring the effects of socio economic factors on growers' knowledge and also the effects of growers' knowledge on pistachio yield, Pearson correlation, variance analysis and regression methods were used. The results showed that farmers' knowledge regards to temporal management of water, nutrition and insecticide is low and is very different among pistachio producers. In this regard, farmers' knowledge about insecticide is more than two others. The results, also, showed that research and extension activities have had the significant effect on increasing knowledge of inputs temporal management. Lack of suitable structures regarding water temporal management has caused no effect of knowledge on inputs productivity. In contrast, knowledge of pesticide temporal management has enhanced pesticide productivity. Also, knowledge of nutrition temporal management has increased land productivity. One number increasing in pesticide knowledge will decrease pesticide consumption, 0.477 litres per hectare. According to nutrition, one number increasing in farmers' knowledge will enhance pistachio yields, 21.32 kilogram per hectar. In other words, a person who recive 20, his yield is 426 kilogram per hectar more than a person who recive zero. At last some suggestions were made for enhancing farmers' knowledge and increasing the effects of their knowledge on inputs productivity.
