Marine planktic dinoflagellates of the order Gonyaulacales taylor from coastal waters of Sindh, Pakistan

The present paper reports seven species of marine dinoflagellates belonging to the order Gonyaulacales Taylor for the first time from Pakistan's coastal waters among which Ceratocorys horrida Stein was the most common species, being present on all sampling sites. The phytoplankton material has been studied using light and scanning electron microscopy. Diagnostic descriptions, illustrations and distributions are provided for all taxa from the study area.
