The local Belarusian traditions in formation of flowerbeds

Русский. Цель работы – выявить ассортимент декоративных однолетних растений, сформированный на территории Беларуси не только за счет интродуцированных растений, прошедших длительный путь акклиматизации и адаптации к нашим условиям, но и за счет аборигенной флоры, традиционно используемой в палисадниках. Это сможет послужить базой для создания тематических цветников, сохранения и расширения культурных традиций белорусского народа в области цветоводства и озеленения. Освещены исторические аспекты формирования белорусских цветников. На базе коллекции декоративных однолетних растений Центрального Ботанического Сада НАН Беларуси предложен перспективный ассортимент для белорусских цветников. Приводится анализ некоторых декоративных и биометрических характеристик предложенного ассортимента.

Английский. The main goal of the research presented in the article appears evaluation of the assortment of ornamental plants developed on the territory of the Republic of Belarus not only due to introduced varieties, travelling a long way of acclimatization and adaptation to natural conditions of the republic, but also due to indigenous species, traditionally used on gardenplots. Information gathered in the article can be used for the development of subject flowerbeds, preservation and increment of national traditions concerned to floriculture and landscaping. Historical aspects of the formation of the Belarusian flowerbeds have been described. Based upon the collection of ornamental annual plants of Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus the perspective assortment for Belarusian flowerbeds has been proposed. Analysis of some decorative and biometric characteristics of the proposed range of flowers has been presented in the article. The main directions of use of successfully introduced plants in landscape management have been suggested.
