Physico-chemical water quality of the lake Pelagićevo

Physico-chemical analyses are the best way of estimating the current state of the watercourses. Estimation of water quality based on these parameters was conducted in the Lake Pelagićevo. Samples for analysis were collected at three sites of the Lake Pelagićevo, in a depth profile, and sampling was done twice, with a total of 16 analyzed parameters. Results showed that water from the Lake is of a relatively good quality. But a few parameters, high oxygen saturation rate and COD, indicate a processes that can lead to significant deterioration of water quality and the negative impact on the life in it.
