Pugachev, G.N. | Kuzin, A.I.
studies were conducted in 2012-2016 in the experimental orchard I.V. Michurin Federal Scientific Centre, as well as in commercial orchards of "Agronomist-sad" (Lipetsk region) and "Dubovoe" (Tambov region). The purpose of the research was to study the effect of drip irrigation on certain physical properties and the balance of hydrolyzable nitrogen in the soil. As a result of the research, the effect of drip irrigation on the granulometric composition, humus content, and hydrolyzable nitrogen content in the soil was determined. Also, the effect of drip irrigation on the structural and water resistance of the soil and the content of agronomically valuable aggregates was established. Highlighted the importance of legumes sod. The importance of fertigation (application of fertilizers with irrigation water) is shown to reduce the rate of nitrogen fertilizer rate in intensive orchards.
