The tasks of breeding and acceleration of the introduction of new apple varieties in production | Задачи селекции и ускорения внедрения новых сортов яблони в производство

Английский. The article contains requirements for 24 indicators, which a modern variety must meet. For 60 years the team of the All-Russian Research Institute for Horticultural Plant Breeding generated and zoned more than 50 new varieties, including more than scab-resistant 20 first domestic varieties; from intervalent crossings for the first time in the world a series of triploid varieties was obtained, which is characterized by greater regularity of fruiting over the years, better marketability and weight of fruits, increased self-fertility; column-like apple varieties with high fruit qualities for super intensive orchards were created. The problem of reducing time for breeding new varieties is being solved through improved breeding techniques and combining the stages of the breeding process in time and space. In the 1950s of the XX-th century from the beginning of the breeding process (hybridization) till the including of a variety into the State Register of Breeding Achievements was on average 43 years were spent from the , in the 1960s it was 33 years, in the 1980s -26 and in the 1990s – 21 years. From the time of including a variety into the State Register of Breeding Achievements till its broad introduction into production in the RF and abroad lots of years pass. Well-known in Central Russia the varieties 'Sinap orlovsky', 'Orlik' and 'Orlovskoye Polosatoye' appeared in industrial and amateurish orchards in 27 to 30 years after they were zoned. To accelerate the introduction of new apple varieties into production it is suggested to start the production testing of the best varieties in breeding institutions when transferring them into state testing, production testing should be conducted at large industrial and farm enterprises on the basis of the agreement providing mutual responsibilities of the research institution and administration of the enterprise. In Russia there is a sufficient assortment of new domestic apple varieties suitable for the import substitution of fruit production.

Русский. В статье приведены требования по 24 показателям, которым должен соответствовать современный сорт. За 60 лет коллективом ВНИИ селекции плодовых культур созданы и районированы более 50 новых сортов, в том числе более 20 первых отечественных, иммунных к парше; от интервалентных скрещиваний впервые в мире получена серия триплоидных сортов, характеризующихся большей регулярностью плодоношения по годам, лучшей товарностью и массой плодов, повышенной самоплодностью; созданы колонновидные сорта яблони с высокими качествами плодов для суперинтенсивных садов. Задача сокращения времени на выведение новых сортов решается за счет совершенствования селекционных приемов и совмещения этапов селекционного процесса во времени и пространстве. В 50-е гг. XX в. от начала селекционного процесса (гибридизации) до включения сорта в Госреестр селекционных достижений затрачивалось в среднем 43 года, то в 60-е гг. – 33, в 80-е – 26, а в 90-е гг. – до 21 года. С момента включения сорта яблони в Госреестр до широкого его внедрения в производство в РФ и за рубежом проходит много лет. Так, известные в средней полосе России Синап орловский, Орлики Орловское полосатое получили широкое распространение в промышленных и любительских садах через 27-30 лет после районирования. Для ускорения внедрения новых сортов яблони в производство предлагается производственное испытание лучших из них начинать в селекционных учреждениях уже при передаче на государственное испытание. Производственное испытание должно проводиться в крупных промышленных и фермерских хозяйствах на основе договора, предусматривающего взаимные обязанности научно-исследовательского учреждения и администрации производственного хозяйства. В России имеется достаточный сортимент новых отечественных сортов яблони, пригодных для импортозамещения плодовой продукции.
