Crop wild relatives in the northwestern Baikal region (according to the materials of the 2014 collecting mission) | Дикие родичи культурных растений на территории северо-западного Прибайкалья (по материалам экспедиции 2014 года)

Английский. The flora of the Baikal region is extremely heterogeneous, with representatives of various floristic complexes, geographic zones and ecological groups. Growing in the region are a large number of endemics, rare species of various origins, and crop wild relatives (CWR) of interest for economic use. The collecting mission's route passed through Bayandayevsky, Kachugsky, Zhigalovsky, Kazachensky-Lensky, Olkhonsky and Ekhirit-Bulagatsky districts of Irkutsk Province and the North Baikal district of the Republic of Buryatia. The work was carried out by the route surveying method from August 4 to August 18, 2014. The length of the route was 2701 km. Coordinates and elevations above sea level of the collection sites were determined using the GPS navigator. The vegetation in the north-west of the Baikal region was studied. The areas with the richest species-specific diversity of CWR were identified. Thirty-seven phytocenoses were described, 102 seed samples of 56 species (23 genera) representing wild relatives of fodder, legume, fruit, cereal and fiber crops were collected, including 5 endemics included in the Red Data Books of the Russian Federation, Irkutsk Province and the Republic of Buryatia. Many species replenished the VIR collection for the first time; due to their valuable biological characteristics, they deserve to undergo introductory testing and be used in breeding programs.

Русский. Флора Прибайкалья чрезвычайно гетерогенна, в ней присутствуют представители различных флористических комплексов, поясно-зональных и экологических групп. В регионе произрастает большое число эндемиков, редких видов различного генеза и диких родичей культурных растений (ДРКР), представляющих интерес для хозяйственного использования. Маршрут экспедиции проходил по Баяндаевскому, Качугскому, Жигаловскому, Казаченско-Ленскому, Ольхонскому и Эхирит-Булагатскому районам Иркутской обл. и Северо-Байкальскому району Республики Бурятии. Работы проводились маршрутно-экспедиционным методом с 4 по 18 августа 2014 г. Протяженность маршрута составила 2701 км. Координаты и высоты над уровнем моря мест сбора определялись при помощи PS-навигатора. Изучена растительность на северо-западе Прибайкалья, выявлены районы, наиболее разнообразные по видовому составу ДРКР. Описано 37 фитоценозов, собрано 102 образца семян и отводков 56 видов (23 родов) диких родичей кормовых, зернобобовых, плодовых, зерновых и технических культур, в том числе 5 эндемиков, включенных в Красные книги РФ, Иркутской обл. и Республики Бурятия. Многие виды впервые пополнили коллекцию ВИР и благодаря своим ценным биологическим признакам заслуживают интродукционного испытания и вовлечения в селекцию.
