Methods for assessing the sharpness of cutting blades of tillage machines | Методы оценки остроты лезвий почвообрабатывающих машин

Английский. The aim of the research is the development of a method and a device for the measuring the sharpness of the tillage machine plowshare blades. It is suggested that the sharpness of the cutting parts can be determined by the ability of the tiller blade to concentrate the contact stresses, and the sharpness evaluation is carried out during the process of changing the shape of the blade during wear. The investigations were carried out at a farm situated in the Tselinograd Region (the Republic of Kazakhstan), where the soil was a medium loamy with a hardness of 12.7-14.5 kgf/sq. cm, with a moisture content of 18-24% at a depth of 16 cm. Changes in the main parameters of the plowshare blades of serial cultivators KPSh-9 made of 45% Carbon steel (not hardened) with a top hardening with the Sormite-1 alloy have been investigated. To measure the parameters of the plowshare blades, a method of copying the full profile of the blade using lead strips is proposed. Strips 0.5-0.7 mm thick and 2 mm wide were pressed to the blade manually until the gap between them and the blade was completely eliminated, a copy was made and analyzed on a vertical projector at a 10-fold magnification. The resulting profile was drawn on the table of the projector and then the radius of rounding of the blade and the width of the backing chamfer, which was not subject to wear and could serve as a reference for estimating the blade angle and a number of other blade parameters and the blade angle of inclination to the furrow bottom, were measured. The accuracy of the calculations was checked by comparison with the measurement analysis data for the profile of a specially made reference blade metallographic section at a 10-fold magnification. In the course of the studies using this method, the accuracy was attained sufficient to obtain reliable measurement results: the error in measuring the chamfer width with a probability of 95% was 0.112 mm; the probable error in determining the radius of rounding of the blade was 0.064 mm. In the field conditions, it is proposed to evaluate the sharpness of the blade with a special device by determining the depth of insertion into a rubber cylindrical element of the blade installed at the crumbling angle. The device test showed that the blade values corresponded to real values, which determined the blade sharpness.

Русский. Цель – разработка метода и средства измерения остроты лезвий лемехов почвообрабатывающих машин. Предложено остроту режущих деталей определять способностью лезвия почвообрабатывающей машины концентрировать контактные напряжения, а оценку остроты проводить в процессе изменения формы лезвия при изнашивании. Исследования проводили в совхозе Целиноградской области (Республика Казахстан), где почва представляла собой средний суглинок твердостью 12,7-14,5 кгс/см2 при влажности 18-24% на глубине 16 см. Изучались изменения основных параметров лезвий лемехов серийных культиваторов КПШ-9, изготовленных из стали 45 (сырой) с верхним упрочнением сплавом "Сормайт-1". Для измерения параметров лезвий лемехов предложен способ снятия слепка полного профиля лезвия с помощью свинцовых полосок. Полоски толщиной 0,5-0,7 мм и шириной 2 мм прижимали к лезвию вручную до полного устранения просвета между ними и лезвием, снимали слепок и анализировали на вертикальном проекторе при 10-кратном увеличении. Получаемый профиль зарисовывали на столе проектора, затем производились измерения радиуса закругления лезвия, ширины затылочной фаски, которая не подвергается изнашиванию и может служить базой для оценки угла и ряда других параметров лезвия и угла его наклона к дну борозды. Точность расчетов проверяли путем сопоставления с данными анализа измерений профиля специально изготовленного образца-шлифа эталонного лезвия при 10-кратном увеличении. В ходе исследований достигнута точность, достаточная для получения достоверных результатов измерений: погрешность измерения ширины фаски с вероятностью 95% составила 0,121 мм; вероятная погрешность определения радиуса закругления лезвия – 0,064 мм. В полевых условиях оценку остроты лезвия предложено осуществлять специальным прибором путем определения глубины внедрения лезвия, установленного под углом крошения, в резиновый цилиндрический элемент. Его проверка показала соответствие реальным значениям параметров лезвия, определяющим его остроту.
