This paper analyzes the production characteristics of potato in Vojvodina (the area, annual production and yield) for the period 1991-2017. The analysis was carried out by the method of descriptive statistics. Based on the analysis of the time series, using the ARIMA model, the prediction of the potato characteristics was then performed for the period 2018-2022. The official statistical data used in the analysis were provided by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. The harvested area under potato in the analyzed period was on average 19,000 hectares. The yield of potato was 14.6 tons per hectare. The annual production of potato on average was 253,000 tons. It is expected that the harvested area under potato will be reduced to the level of 5,500 hectares in 2022. The yield of potato is expected to be 22.7 tons per hectare. Total annual production will continue to decline in the future, so it is expected that in 2022 it will drop to 169,000 tons.
