Tocopherols are significant nutritive and antioxidative compounds. Rapeseed tocopherol content is low to medium, therefore it is desirable to increase its level in order to improve oil quality of this species. The aim of this research was to determine tocopherol content of 10 genotypes of winter oilseed rape. After extraction of seed oil, prepared samples were analyzed by HPLC chromatography. Total tocopherol content varried from 413-465 mg/kg of oil. Highest alpha-tocopherol level was detected in NS L51 and highest gamma-tocopherol amount in NS HR3.
