In organic cattle breeding, whether it is organic milk production or organicmeat production, depending on climatic conditions, grazing and mixed farmingsystems are most often present. The grazing system involves the stay of cattlethroughout the year in pastures with the use of roofs to protect animals from thesun and atmospheric precipitation. The number of animals on pastures isconsistent with their area with respect to the principles of the nitrate directive. Inthe case of a mixed system of rearing cattle for the production of milk and meat, they are kept in pastures for about half a year (second half of spring, summer andfirst half of autumn), and the second part of the year (second half of autumn, winter and first half of spring) are kept in facilities that must be adapted to organicproduction standards. Accommodation facilities for fattening cattle, especially inthe cow-calf system that is most used in organic meat production, are simplerstructures than those for organic milk production.Such agriculture provides amortization of the negative effects of socialdevelopment on the ecosphere and the human population as a whole.
