Morphological blood indices of sports horses in helminthosis | Морфологические показатели крови спортивных лошадей при гельминтозах

Английский. The influence of helminth fauna on morphological blood indices in sporting horses was studied. The research was carried out in 2017-2019. Using the principle of counterparts 2 groups of horses, 11 heads in each group – control group (CG) and experimental group (EG) were selected. Helminth invasion was evident through erythropenia, reduction in erythrocytes in the EG by 26.9%, against this background hemoglobin fell by 48.36%. The content of basophiles was found to be by 75% lower in the EG ac compare to the CG. A great reduction in platelets in the animals of the EG was revealed, the index was lower by 64.1% than in the CG (356.7 ± 2.89%). The hematocrit was reduced by 46.1% in the EG in relation to the CG (49.13 ± 0.45%). The research showed a great increase in the level of leucocytes in the EG by 93.9% (15.9 ± 0.38 109/l) against the CG (8.2 ± 0.43 109/l), thereby testifying to the development of leucocytosis and pathological process in the horse bodies, digestive disorders and stresses. The number of eosinophils in blood of horses of the EG was higher by 92.1%, than in the CG (3.8 ± 0.15%). The number of stab neutrophils in the EG increased by 28.6% and segmented neutrophils – by 15.01% as compared to the CG (5.6 ± 0.51%), which is associated with increased intoxication from the gastro-intestinal tract. The content of monocytes in the EG horse blood was higher than in the counterparts from the CG (4.4 ± 0.88%) by 43.2%. An increase in lymphocytes in the EG by 48.7% in relation to the CG (34.9 ±0.96%) was revealed. It has been concluded helminth invasions induce intoxication, inflammatory processes, and stresses. This depresses the vital forces of horses, reduces their working capacity and endurance thereby decreasing an achievability of high sports results.

Русский. Изучали влияние гельминтофауны на морфологические показатели крови у спортивных лошадей. Исследования проводили в 2017-2019 гг. По принципу аналогов были подобраны 2 группы лошадей по 11 голов в каждой – контрольная (КГ) и опытная (ОГ). Гельминтная инвазия проявлялась эритроцитопенией, уменьшением эритроцитов в ОГ на 26,9%, на этом фоне уровень гемоглобина упал на 48,36%. Установлено на 75,0% более низкое содержание базофилов в ОГ по сравнению с КГ. Выявлено значительное понижение числа тромбоцитов у животных ОГ, показатель снижен на 64,1%, чем в КГ (356,7 ± 2,89%). Гематокрит был снижен на 46,1% в ОГ по отношению к КГ (49,13 ± 0,45%). Исследования показали значительное повышение уровня лейкоцитов в ОГ лошадей на 93,9% (15,9 ± 0,38 109/л) против КГ (8,2 ± 0,43 109/л), что свидетельствует о развитии лейкоцитоза и патологического процесса в организме лошадей, нарушения пищеварения и стрессах. Число эозинофилов в крови лошадей из ОГ было выше на 92,1%, чем в КГ (3,8 ± 0,15%). Количеств палочкоядерных нейтрофилов в ОГ увеличено на 28,6% и сегментоядерных – на 15,01% по сравнению с КГ (5,6 ± 0,51%), что связано с повышенной интоксикацией со стороны желудочно-кишечного тракта. Содержание моноцитов в крови лошадей ОГ было выше аналогов КГ (4,4 ± 0,88%) на 43,2%. Выявлено повышение количества лимфоцитов в ОГ животных на 48,7% по отношению к КГ (34,9 ± 0,96%). Сделан вывод, что гельминтозные инвазии вызывают интоксикацию, воспалительные процессы, стрессы. Это угнетающе действует на жизненно важные системы организма лошадей, снижает их работоспособность и выносливость, уменьшается возможность достижения высоких спортивных результатов.
