Kaugtöö kui motivaator tööandja valimisel

Английский. Teleworking as a form of employment may be considered relevant owing to severalreasons. For instance, the constantly changing working environment and newdevelopments in the field of technology provide favourable conditions for teleworkingwhilst allowing the employee more freedom of choice regarding their place of work.Promoting teleworking aids in better preparations for periods of crisis and provides anopportunity for rearranging work more efficiently.The aim of this master’s thesis was to determine if and how employees are motivated byteleworking as a form of employment and which expectations and possibilities related toteleworking are most motivating for employment seekers and employees. For the purposesof achieving the aim of this thesis, the author compiled a questionnaire of 16 claims relatedto motivation and teleworking. Respondents evaluate the claims based on a 5-point Likertscale. The survey was carried out between the 4th of February to the 12th of February,2020. There were 427 respondents. On the basis of the results of the survey, the authorelicited the most significant factors related to motivation concerning teleworking as a formof employment and provided insight into the main advantages and disadvantages ofteleworking. Results of the study outlined that persons employed either full-time or parttime in the form of teleworking rate their level of satisfaction higher. The main motivatingaspects highlighted by respondents were comprehensibility of work, a better balance ofwork and family life and support provided by the team. Results demonstrated that 56,7%of the respondents are prepared to telework. Relying on the results of the survey, the author put together an overview for employers, outlining the deductions and suggestions forimplementing teleworking as a form of employment.

Kaugtöö tegemise vormi võib pidada aktuaalseks mitmel põhjusel. Näiteks loovad sellekssoodsad tingimused muutuv töökeskkond ja tehnoloogia areng, mis võimaldavad töövõtjalsealjuures vabamalt töö tegemise kohta valida. Kaugtöö vormis töötamisepopulariseerimine aitab paremini valmis olla kriisiperioodideks ning seeläbi töödefektiivsemalt ümber korraldada.Magistritöö eesmärgiks oli välja selgitada kas ja kuidas kaugtöö vormis töötaminetöövõtjaid motiveerib ning millised kaugtööga seotud ootused ja võimalused ontööotsijatele ja töötajatele enim motiveerivad. Uurimistöö eesmärgi saavutamisekskoostati küsimustik, mis sisaldas 16 motivatsiooni ja kaugtööga seotud väidet, millelevastajad viie palli süsteemis Likerti skaalal oma hinnangu andsid. Küsitlus viidi läbiajavahemikus 04.02 – 12.02.2020 ning selles osales 427 vastanut. Küsitluse tulemustepõhjal selgitatakse välja olulisemad motivatsiooni tegurid, mis kaugtöö vormistöötamisega kaasnevad ning antakse ülevaade peamistest kaugtöö eelistest ja puudustest.Uuringu tulemustest selgus, et kaugtöö vormis täis- ja osalise ajaga töötavad isikudannavad kõrgemaid hinnanguid rahulolule. Peamiste motiveerivate aspektidena toodivälja töö arusaadavus, pere- ja tööelu parem tasakaal ning meeskonna toetavus. Uuringutulemustest selgus, et 56,7% vastajatest oleks valmis kaugtöö vormis töötama. Uuringutulemustele tuginedes koostas töö autor tööandjatele ülevaate ning toob välja järeldusedja soovitused kaugtöö vormis töötamise rakendamiseks.
