The present paper represents the result of floristic survey on the rare vascular plant forest species of Republic of Moldova. The list comprises 111 rare forest species which are listed under the different National and International European policy instruments such as: the Habitats Directive (4 taxa), Bern Convention (2) and Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (11 species) etc.
