Зимостойкость и сезонное развитие видов и сортов Weigela Thunb. В условиях лесостепи Алтайского Приобья | Winter hardiness and seasonal development of species and varieties of Weigela Thunb. under the conditions of the forest-steppe of the Altai Region's Ob River area

Русский. Многие виды экзотических растений, в частности, красивоцветущий кустарник р. Weigela Thunb. из сем. Жимолостные, мало известны населению России. Изучали адаптационные характеристики перспективного декоративного кустарника вейгелы с целью расширения озеленительного ассортимента. Представлены 70-летние результаты интродукции 6 видов и 4 сортов Weigela Thunb. в условиях лесостепи Алтайского Приобья. Описаны сроки наступления основных фенологических фаз развития растений, дана оценка зимостойкости по методикам З.И. Лучник. В погодных условиях 1950-2005 и 2014-2019 гг. наблюдали обмерзание однолетних побегов до полного вымерзания куста у всех образцов. Развитие почек у видовых растений начиналось раньше, чем у сортовых, на 11 дней. Зацветание проходило с 18 мая по 20 июня, продолжительность цветения в среднем составила от 10 до 29 дней. Установлено, что в начальную стадию окрашивания листьев вступали только виды. Стадии полного окрашивания и естественного листопада отсутствовали у всех культиваров. Наибольшую зимостойкость проявили сорта Weigela florida Minor Blec, Purpurea и Victoria. Менее зимостойкими оказались Weigela coraeensis, Weigela floribunda, Weigela hortensis, Weigela japonica, Weigela decora, Weigela subsessilis, Weigela florida Alecsandra. В результате вымерзания вид Weigela hortensis признан не перспективным. Вегетация таксонов Weigela Thunb. начиналась с конца апреля и длилась до конца сентября. Дополнительно к разработанному З.И. Лучник ассортименту вейгелы (Weigela praecox, Weigela middendorffiana) рекомендуем сорта Weigela florida Purpurea и Victoria для использования в садово-парковом дизайне, а сорт Minor Blec для дальнейшего интродукционного изучения.

Английский. Many species of exotic plants, in particular, flowering shrubs g. Weigela from the honeysuckle family are little known to the Russian public. Studied were the adaptive characteristics of a promising ornamental shrub Weigela family in order to expand the landscaping range of plants. Presented are the 70-year-old results of the introduction of 6 species and 4 varieties of Weigela Thunb. in the forest-steppe of the Altai Region's Ob River area. The dates of the main phenological phases of plant development are described; winter hardiness is evaluated by using the methods of Z.I. Luchnik. Under the weather conditions of 1950-2005 and 2014-2019, freezing injuries of annual shoots along with complete frost killing of shrubs of all accessions was observed. Bud development in species plants began earlier than in varietal plants by 11 days. Flowering proceeded from May 18 to June 20; the duration of flowering averaged from 10 to 29 days. It was found that only species came into the initial stage of leaf coloration. The stages of complete coloration and natural leaf fall were absent in all cultivars. The varieties Weigela florida Minor Blec, Purpurea and Victoria showed the highest winter hardiness. Weigela coraeensis, Weigela floribunda, Weigela hortensis, Weigela japonica, Weigela decora, Weigela subsessilis, Weigela florida Alecsandra turned out to be less winter-hardy. Because of frost killing, the species Weigela hortensis was not recognized as promising. The growing season of Weigela Thunb. taxons began in late April and continued till the end of September. In addition to the Weigela assortment developed by Z.I. Luchnik (Weigela praecox, Weigela middendorffiana), the varieties Weigela florida Purpurea and Victoria varieties are recommended for use in landscape design, as well as Minor Blec for further introduction.
