The present studies revealed that reduced canopyvolume of Nagpur mandarin on trifoliate oranges and theirhybrids is an indication for their use for high density plantingas has been advocated in lemon [Citrus limon (L) Burm. f.],sweet oranges [c. sinensis (L.) Pers.] and kinnow mandarinC. reticulata Blanco (Bitters etal.l977, Castle 1983, Castleet a1.1986).
