The research aimed to study the effect of potassium humate and hydrogen peroxide on growth, yield and quality of sweet potato, using local variety. The study was carried out during 2019 at Al-Bassa village, Lattakia Governorate, using complete randomized design. The experiment included four treatments: untreated plants (control), spray with potassium humate 200 mg/L, spray with hydrogen peroxide 20 mM, and spray with a combination of potassium humate 200 mg/L and hydrogen peroxide 20 mM.The results showed that treatment with combination of potassium humate and hydrogen peroxide gave a significant superiority over other treatments in all studied parameters. like stem length (365 cm), number of leaves (1024 leaves/plant), leaf area (18890 cm2/plant), chlorophyll content (3.5 mg/g FW), tubers number (8.3 tuber/plant), and yield (4026 g/plant).The results showed as welle that treatment with combination of potassium humate and hydrogen peroxide gave a highest content of dry matter (34.5 %) and starch (23.4 %), while treatment with hydrogen peroxide gave a highest content of total sugars (6.5 %).
