Toxicants of hazard class 1 in ornamental herbaceous perennials | Токсиканты I класса опасности в декоративных травянистых многолетниках

Английский. The purpose of the research was to study the accumulation and distribution of elements of hazard class 1 in decorative herbaceous perennials of the genus Iris L. The research was carried out in 2020–2021 in the South-Ural Botanical Garden-Institute. Objects of study were the follows: soil of the site and plant organs (Iris orientalis, I. pseudacorus, I. sibirica, I. spuria subsp. carthaliniae). The elemental composition was determined by the atomic absorption method with electrothermal atomization. The distribution of pollutants was evaluated using the biological absorption coefficient (BAC), total cumulation in vegetative and generative, as well as underground and aboveground organs. The content of mobile forms of heavy metals and metalloids in the soil did not exceed the MPC and averaged: Cd – 0.03, As – 0.59, Pb – 0.48 mg/kg. Cadmium distribution in organs depended on the species: both basipetal (I. orientalis – 0.05 mg/kg) and acropetal accumulation of the element (I. spuria subsp. carthaliniae – 0.05 mg/kg) are possible. Accumulation in aboveground organs exceeded cumulation in roots from 1.4 to 7.5 times. BAC values for cadmium differed from 0.27 to 1.56. It was shown that I. orientalis, I. pseudacorus, I. spuria subsp. carthaliniae roots performed a barrier function and accumulated arsenic in amounts exceeding the MPC (0.67–0.85 mg/kg). The root system of I. sibirica did not prevent the entry of the toxicant concentrated in the generative organs at a concentration exceeding the MPC (0.61–0.78 mg/kg). The BAC of arsenic in the leaves of all species was less than 1. Lead uptake was species-independent. Close total elemental values, similar organ distribution and consistently high MPC confirmed that. A predominantly aboveground pollutant concentration was revealed (3.4−5.1). The result of the regression analysis showed the content of the mobile form of lead in soil did not affect its accumulation in leaves.

Русский. Цель исследований − изучение аккумуляции и распределения элементов I класса опасности в декоративных травянистых многолетниках рода Iris L. Исследования проводили в 2020–2021 гг. на базе Южно-Уральского ботанического сада-института. Объекты исследований: почва участка и органы растений (Iris orientalis, I. pseudacorus, I. sibirica, I. spuria subsp. сarthaliniae). Элементный состав определяли атомно-абсорбционным методом с электротермической атомизацией. Распределение поллютантов оценивали с использованием коэффициента биологического поглощения (КБП), суммарной кумуляции в вегетативных и генеративных, а также подземных и надземных органах. Содержание подвижных форм тяжелых металлов и металлоидов в почве не превышает ПДК и составляет в среднем: Cd – 0,03, As – 0,59, Pb – 0,48 мг/кг. Распределение кадмия по органам зависит от вида: возможна как базипетальная (I. orientalis – 0,05 мг/кг), так и акропетальная аккумуляция элемента (I. spuria subsp. carthaliniae – 0,05 мг/кг). Накопление в надземных органах превышает кумуляцию в корнях от 1,4 до 7,5 раз. Величины КБП для кадмия разнятся – от 0,27 до 1,56. Показано, что корни I. orientalis, I. pseudacorus, I. spuria subsp. carthaliniae выполняют барьерную функцию и аккумулируют мышьяк в количествах, превышающих ПДК (0,67–0,85 мг/кг). Корневая система I. sibirica не препятствует поступлению токсиканта, сосредоточенному в генеративных органах в концентрации, превышающей ПДК (0,61–0,78 мг/кг). Определено, что КБП мышьяка в листьях всех видов менее 1. Поглощение свинца не зависит от видов, что подтверждают близкие суммарные показатели элемента, а также схожее распределение по органам и стабильно высокий КБП. Выявлена преимущественно надземная концентрация поллютанта (3,4–5,1). Результат регрессионного анализа показал, что содержание подвижной формы свинца в почве не влияет на его аккумуляцию в листьях.
