A new rice variety "Palkwangnyeo"

"Palkwangnyeo" was developed from a cross between IR2061-465/SR814-47 F1 and Honamjosaeng at the Crop Experiment Station, Office of Rural Development (Korea R.) in 1979. This cultivar has considerably stable high yielding potential with good grain, quality, relative resistance to blast and bacterial leaf blight, and resistance to stripe virus disease.
